About Jessica Mazo

Bio

Jessica Mazo is a dedicated educator with a passion for providing resources, work experience, and her philosophy of teaching to others. Her passion is on supporting MLLs (Multilingual Language Learners) and their families.  With years of experience and a commitment to inclusive teaching, Jessica Mazo is devoted to creating an enriching learning environment for all.  She has a wide range of experience teaching. She also works as a facilitator helping Rhode Island teachers gain their TESOL certification through the ExcEL Educator Leadership Academy. She speaks at conferences and has run professional developments as well through that program.  She is an advocate for her students and their families and believes everyone deserves a quality education. ​​

As an educator, Jessica Mazo believes in the power of diversity and recognizes the unique strengths that each individual brings to the learning process. Her teaching philosophy is centered around fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
