Language Objectives

Special Education vs. MLL
Presented to Colleagues in 2023
This professional development (PD) was created to educate colleagues on the importance of language objectives and how they differ from content objectives.
Day 1 focuses on what language objectives are and why we use them and how you write them.
Day 2 is a workshop model for teachers to work with peers to write and edit language objectives.
This PD is explaining the difference because special education and MLL education to help clarify so educators can better recognize student needs.

Educator Micro-Credentials: Better for My Learning and Better for Students
This is a blog post I wrote and published on the Aurora Institute.

MUSE Website
This is a website I helped create through UCLA. It is a website that provides teachers with resources that can use in their classrooms when working with Multilingual Learners, and all students. I have a few resources I created published on this website. ​
