Here, you will a variety of engaging and effective resources tailored to meet the diverse needs of students who speak multiple languages. Each resource focuses on enhancing language skills while promoting cultural awareness and inclusivity. Explore our resources to support teaching and create a dynamic learning environment for all.

This activity allows students to practice their speaking skills through looking at pictures that change each week.  The teacher has to guess which picture the student is describing verbally.  The video explains how to use this activity.

This can be adapted as writing or speaking activity where students describe different objects you bring in.

This is an exit ticket used in class for MLL students with both English and Spanish directions. It is a 3, 2, 1 style exit ticket. 

This activity has students practice parts of speech and defining them.

This is a vocab binder sheet students use to add new academic language.  They add words provided by the teacher but also works they need as well. They define the term in English and give me a similar word they use in their home language, they find a picture to remind them and they also write a sentence. 

This is a review game you can adapt to any content area and with any level of learners.

This is a weekly warm up choice board that hits the 4 domains of listening, speaking, reading and writing. The video walks you through the process of using this resource. 

This is a project where students chose how they want to showcase what they learned about World War II and the video explains the directions and how to use this activity. 

This activity looks at helping students write sentences.  It has a word bank to use for helping them piece together sentences.  This is helpful for you emergent bilinguals who are still learning vocabulary in English.
